My name is Carolina and I set up Invest Natura.
With a career helping countries, regions and cities attract investment, I know what it takes to do so, and that without investment it is unlikely that any place grows. And while most locations have professional teams doing this work, most indigenous groups either don’t know or don’t use this economic tool called investment attraction.
This gap not only undermines many good efforts, but also weakens indigenous communities day-in and day-out, which in turn festers social divide and hinders them playing an even greater role as nature stewards . This must be addresses if we are to build inclusive and sustainable societies and preserve biodiversity.
